The protest against legal loan sharks on Saturday the 7th September in Ashford, Kent will run as follows:
1:30 – 2:30 – We assemble and protest outside ‘The Money Shop’ on Bank Street.
2:30 – 3:00 – We move our protest to outside ‘Pickwick Pawnbrokers’ on the High Street.
3:00 – 4:00 – We move our protest down the High Street to outside ‘Cheque Centre’.
We are very grateful for everyone who comes along, but please respect the following advice from the police: we should not obstruct any highways, nor use swear words. If possible, we have been asked to avoid naming specific companies on placards or in chants.
We hope to see you tomorrow to make it known that pay day loans are immoral and unacceptable in 2013! We look forward to seeing you with your banners and enthusiasm!
